1. Last night I arrived in West Yellowstone, Montana

and so far I’ve already managed to electrocute myself. That’s a culture shock if I’ve ever experienced one!

I should mention this was after my terrible flight in a 30-person plane where we were enveloped by a lightning storm (so, you know, I already had an electric current flowing through me) followed by two pints of beer before dinner

and I can’t remember if it was before or after I danced to country music

but I won’t say how I electrocuted myself, because it was stupid, and I just can’t handle looking stupid!

The point I’m trying to get at is: there’s electricity here? I’m always caught off guard when a light switches on or my phone works or people know how to use a computer (well, that’s debatable).

It’s a strange world here, y’all! A strange, isolated, breathtakingly beautiful world.
